This site is my ninth (well, that is if my usually faulty memory serves) blog I’ve started in the past 4 years. This will hopefully be my last. I’m not sure why I change blog sites so often, as it clearly defeats the purpose of having a “home” on the web. Maybe the fact that I’ve been stuck in Champaign-Urbana for almost a decade has forced a restlessness upon me that surfaces in my inability to maintain a solitary online home. Whatever.
This site will be my attempt to plant permanent roots for my new thoughts, and to compile many of my old writings from various past blogs into one locale. I wouldn’t purchase any housewarming gifts just yet; but if I’m still actively around in a few months, feel free to drop by with a plant, a set of coasters, or something of the like.
