… that new car smell. I’m sure one day soon I will wake up and not be in awe of the fact that this actually happened. But until then, just, wow.

Jake posted this link to a large batch Obama photos on Facebook. If you’re looking for a new photo for your desktop, you’ll find it here.
Please elect these people to the White House! Pretty please, with sugar on top.
Tomorrow night I’m going to have a big ole party. It will hopefully be a raucous celebration, and if so don’t be surprised if I drunk dial you at one in the morning.
“Federal agents have broken up a plot to assassinate Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama and shoot or decapitate 102 black people in a Tennessee murder spree, the ATF said Monday. …” Read the rest.
I can’t say I’m surprised by this, but I can say that I’m bothered.
“You can screw with a man’s patio furniture, but don’t fuck with his Obama sign!”
We’ve had this sucker since March of last year. Unbelievable. I feel like stitching it back together, or something.
I doubt we can get another one at this late date.
Update: Check out this breathtaking photo. Over 100K in St. Louis for Obama, a new campaign record.
Over the past couple days, I’ve had two conversations with two separate people about the negative, dishonest crap spewing from McCain-Palin and the GOP. Moreover, a majority of the national media isn’t calling them on it. Instead, to remain “non-biased” in the eyes of those who lyingly call them all “liberals,” the media report: “McCain-Palin said this, Democrats argue the opposite.” Granted, they do the same thing in reverse. But to leave the expression of fact out of it, in headlines and leads and even in the entire articles themselves, is just infuriating. It’s a lot more important to avoid the appearance of taking sides rather than presenting the facts and getting to the truth of the matter. Right.
Here’s a brief read about all the lies that McCain-Palin have been telling, and the absurd challenge Obama faces in attempting to call them on it.
