A helping hand
I’ve decided to do some canvasing for Obama in Indiana. Right now, groups of eastern Illinois residents are making weekend trips to Indiana to rally troops, knock on doors, register voters, and the like. I hope to be able to make some trips during the week, too, now that I’m gainfully unemployed. As M pointed out, I should make a pretty compelling case to your typical small-town Indiana folk: I’m in my 30s, I grew up middle class and continue to be middle class today, I’m white, and I just lost my job. Maybe my story will help?
